FLASH PRINT SALE:
Fundraiser for Native Communities Covid Relief
UPDATE 7/25: The print sale is closed! Thank you so much for all of your support. Please note that our team will be getting in touch with everyone who has placed an order early next week. Due to Covid-related delays and high demand, our print shop is estimating 2-3 weeks for shipping (on the later end for orders outside the United States).
Thank you for your patience as we process these orders. We are so grateful for you and so excited to be able to donate these funds!
The spread of COVID-19 has ravaged many of the tribal communities across the Colorado Plateau in the American southwest. Due to limited running water systems and rural distribution networks for PPE (masks and cleaning supplies), the Navajo Nation has experienced some of the highest infection rates per capita in the U.S., and the neighboring Hopi, Zuni, and Havasupai tribal communities are facing similar challenges.
National Geographic photographers Pete McBride and Renan Ozturk have been working for years across these landscapes documenting tribal communities and their amazing landscapes that border the Grand Canyon, which include Bears Ears, the Painted Desert, and more.
This print sale fundraiser is one way to help these communities combat the pandemic. From July 16th through 24th, ALL PROFITS from these 11x8.5 prints, curated by Nat Geo photo editor and producer Sadie Quarrier, will be split equally among the following native organizations working on the frontlines:
- The Havasupai COVID-19 Relief Fund
- Bluff Area Mutual Aid
- Emergency Mobile Pantry in Zuni, NM
- Navajo & Hopi Families COVID-19 Relief Fund
- Hopi Emergency Assistance Fund
Prints are signed by the artists and shipped from Colorado. International shipping cost may be dependent on location — we will get in touch if this applies to you.
All sales are final. Questions? Email firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.
